Safeo24 Terms & Conditions

Safeo24, owned and operated by Sarvang Infotech India Limited (“Company”), is a mobile application designed to enhance women’s safety. The application offers features such as SOS, Follow Me, I’m Here - Check-in, Emergency Contact Management, and more. By accessing or using Safeo24 (the “App”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue using the App immediately.

1. Definitions
  • 1.1. “User” : Any individual who downloads, installs, or uses Safeo24.
  • 1.2. “App” : The Safeo24 mobile application, including all its services and features.
  • 1.3. “Content” : Includes text, images, location data, logs, and other user-generated or system-generated information.
  • 1.4. “Emergency Contact” : Individuals designated by the User to receive alerts and notifications during emergencies.
  • 1.5. “Company” : Sarvang Infotech India Limited, the owner and operator of Safeo24.
2. Eligibility for Use
  • 2.1. Age Restriction

    Users must be at least 18 years old or have express parental/guardian consent to use Safeo24.

  • 2.2. Compliance with Local Laws

    Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the App complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

  • 2.3. Restricted Locations

    Safeo24 may not be available in certain geographic regions due to technical, regulatory, or legal constraints. It is the User’s responsibility to verify availability in their location.

3. User Registration and Responsibilities
  • 3.1. Account Creation

    Users must create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information, including name, email, phone number, and emergency contact details.

  • 3.2. Account Security

    Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including usernames and passwords. Sharing of account credentials is strictly prohibited.

  • 3.3. Prohibited Activities

    Users agree not to:

    • Misuse the SOS or other emergency features.
    • Transmit false, misleading, or harmful information through the App.
    • Attempt unauthorized access to other user accounts or the App’s backend systems.
4. Features and Functionalities
  • 4.1. SOS Feature
    • Sends real-time alerts with location details to pre-configured emergency contacts.
    • Users must ensure emergency contacts are valid and operational. The Company does not monitor or verify emergency contact responses.
  • 4.2. Follow Me
    • Enables real-time tracking of user location by designated individuals.
    • The feature may experience disruptions due to network issues, device limitations, or GPS unavailability.
  • 4.3. I’m Here - Check-In
    • Allows users to share their location and status manually.
    • Notifications may be delayed or fail due to external factors, including device or network performance.
  • 4.4. Emergency Contact Management
    • Users are responsible for adding, updating, and maintaining accurate emergency contact information.
    • The Company is not liable for any failure by emergency contacts to act or respond.
  • 4.5. Women’s Council and Raise Concern Features
    • Facilitates anonymous reporting of safety concerns or incidents.
    • Reports are stored securely, but response actions depend on relevant authorities or third-party partnerships.
5. Technical Requirements and Limitations

    The App is optimized for specific versions of Android and iOS. It may not function correctly on unsupported or outdated devices.

  • 5.2. Network Dependency

    The App relies on internet connectivity, GPS, and telecommunication services. The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by external factors, including poor network coverage, hardware malfunctions, or third-party service outages.

  • 5.3. Third-Party Integrations

    Safeo24 integrates with third-party services (e.g., SMS gateways, maps, or payment processors). The Company does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, or availability of these external services.

6. Privacy and Data Use
  • 6.1. Data Collection

    The App collects and processes user data, including personal information, location data, and device identifiers, as described in the Privacy Policy.

  • 6.2. Data Ownership

    Users retain ownership of their personal data. The Company is authorized to process this data solely for delivering app functionalities.

  • 6.3. Data Sharing

    The Company will only share data with third parties as required to deliver core services or comply with legal obligations.

  • 6.4. Anonymization

    Non-identifiable, aggregated data may be used for research, development, and analytics purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

    All intellectual property rights in the App, including its source code, design, trademarks, and content, are owned exclusively by Sarvang Infotech India Limited.

  • 7.2. License to Use

    Users are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • 7.3. Prohibited Actions

    Users may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

8. Limitation of Liability
  • 8.1. No Guarantee of Safety

    The App is a tool to enhance personal safety but does not guarantee prevention of harm or emergency outcomes.

  • 8.2. Direct and Indirect Damages

    The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the App.

  • 8.3. Force Majeure

    The Company is not responsible for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or government restrictions.

9. Suspension and Termination
  • 9.1. Termination by User

    Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting the Company’s support team.

  • 9.2. Termination by the Company

    The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

    • Violation of these Terms.
    • Misuse of App functionalities.
    • Engagement in fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • 9.3. Post-Termination

    Upon termination, user data may be deleted or retained as required by applicable law.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
  • 10.1. Arbitration

    Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be resolved through arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration will take place in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in English.

  • 10.2. Jurisdiction

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

11. Amendments to the Terms

    The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.

  • 11.2. Notification of Changes

    Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
